Golfing

So we just finished all of the golf lessons in Lifetime/Leisure Activities and next week we will be going to the driving range and the par 3 course.  I have never been a golfer, so this unit I learned so much information and am becoming slightly better.  I've never been to a driving range before, so that will be a new experience for me.  I'm excited to go and see how far I can hit.  I have done par 3 before, but never knew what I was doing, so hopefully this will be my best round.  For those of you who are avid golfers, any tips before I hit the course next week?

  1. I loved learning golf in lifetime/leisure! I used to hate golf because I thought it was really boring and I knew nothing about it, but now I feel pretty comfortable actually going out on a real golf course with my friends and playing. I don't really have any tips for you since I'm a beginner as well, but keep your arm straight and your legs bent! :)

  2. Lifetime/Leisure was defiantly a fun class! I have never really been golfing before either but I really enjoyed it. It was exciting to see that I could hit the ball. I hope to go golfing a lot more during the summer. My tip for you is to make sure you follow through with your swing that was my biggest problem.

  3. That was a great class. I love to golf and I go every summer. Since your a beginner I would focus on getting to enjoy the game. Don't get frustrated because it can make you never want to play again.
